Alien: A combination of Sci-fi and Horror
The Departed: A combination of Crime and Thriller
Deadlands: A combination of Western and Horror
Horror is commonly used alongside another genre (Hybrid genre), as it adds to the narrative. In which, in return it has more impact on the audience.
